The Lynn Family Foundation was founded by former NFL athlete and current Run Game Coordinator and Running Backs coach for the Washington Commanders, Anthony Lynn, and his wife, Stacey, a former news anchor, to help individuals recognize and achieve their potential in their personal and professional lives through mentorship, scholarships and experiences. For years, the Lynn family gave back to their communities quietly. But as their impact grew, they saw an opportunity to do more—to elevate their beneficiaries, celebrate their stories, and expand their reach. By creating a foundation, they could transform personal philanthropy into a structured, far-reaching initiative.
The Lynn Family Foundation is dedicated to helping individuals recognize and achieve their potential, both personally and professionally, through mentorship, scholarships, and life-changing experiences.
At its core, the Foundation believes in empowering people to pursue their goals and giving them the tools to succeed. By connecting recipients with guidance, education, and opportunity, the foundation continues to strengthen communities and inspire future leaders.
When searching for a partner to help launch and manage their philanthropic mission, the Lynn family chose PPF because of its comprehensive support structure and deep understanding of the sports community—a world the Lynns are part of. With PPF managing the administrative and financial infrastructure, the Lynn Family Foundation has been able to focus on creating meaningful programs, connecting with beneficiaries, and building partnerships that amplify impact.

To bring the foundation to life, the Lynns began by hiring a marketing firm to establish brand identity and foundational tools. From there, the organization steadily expanded its programs and donor network, focusing on building strong relationships with both supporters and grant recipients. The early days weren’t without challenges. As a grant-based foundation, the team had to find the right starting point and build a sustainable base of donors without relying too heavily on sports-affiliated networks that can shift over time. Through persistence and community engagement, the foundation grew a strong, values-aligned support system.
One of the Foundation’s proudest achievements is its partnership with Hugs Café, a nonprofit that provides meaningful employment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through this partnership, the Lynn Family Foundation has granted over $75,000 since its inception.
This collaboration has grown into a deep relationship—so much so that Hugs Café’s new facility will feature the Lynn Family Locker Room, honoring the foundation’s support and commitment.
Beyond the grants themselves, the most meaningful outcomes have come from watching the Foundation’s supporters independently rally behind its beneficiaries. Donors who first learned about organizations like Hugs Café through Foundation events have since become advocates and supporters in their own right—creating a ripple effect of generosity and awareness.
Initially, the Foundation relied on its marketing partners for operational support, but as the organization evolved, the role of PPF became central. PPF project managers have been instrumental—offering strategic guidance, event planning ideas, and ongoing administrative and compliance support. The combination of financial expertise and proactive project management has allowed the Lynn Family Foundation to grow with confidence and consistency.
